Simpson&Liddard mission is to provide any kind of bespoke luxury joinery with their full in-house production. They needed us to rebrand their face to the public in order to convey their mission. The concept of the rebranding of Simpson&Liddard is based on the idea of designing an icon using the synergy between the letters S, & and L. The letter “&” uses part of the S and the L to take shape. The aim is to create an elegant icon to convey the idea of luxury. The two “i” are aligned to make the typography part of the logo tidier, and for the same reason the words Simpson and Liddard are inscribed in a rectangle. The “&” breaks this block putting the attention of the user on the surnames. The asymmetry makes this mark more memorable.
